Bruno Mars – Treasure (Audien Remix)

treasure audien

I’m not too ashamed to admit that “Treasure” is one of my guilty pleasures, its just too damn catchy. I was just thinking that someone could make a great remix, and sure enough, one pops up on Soundcloud the next day. Audien is the perfect remixer for this song, fitting it right into his arsenal of feel good productions. Huge year for Audien so far, don’t be surprised to see him pop up on the DJ Mag top 100 for the first time

Kings of Leon – Supersoaker

Kings of Leon are probably one of the few remaining relevant acts that truly rocks. We desperately short on good ole fashioned rock and roll these days, but hopefully come Sept 24, Kings of Leon’s new album Mechanical Bull will fill the void. The first single “Supersoaker” is classic KOL, and its so satisfying to listen to

Martin Garrix – Animals (Milk N Cookies Festival Remix)

Ok so this song has been a chart topper for the past several weeks with no one looking to claim the throne.  When a song hits number one I usually shy away from remixes because they typically don’t do it justice.  This song takes the same creative drop and really adds a funky tempo to it that is infectious.  Grab this track!

Disclosure – F For You (Totally Extinct Enormous Dinosaurs Remix)

Disclosure has arguably the most refreshing new sound in the music industry, and their album “Settle” is sure to go down and one of the year’s best. One of the standout tracks “F For You” got the remix treatment by fellow brit and equally talented deep house hero T.E.E.D. This is grooves to the max, with a deep, sexy bassline that takes this track to a much darker place.

Lana Del Rey – Young And Beautiful (Remixes)

From day one, Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” was destined to be one of the year’s most remixed tracks. Now halfway through summer, we have not been disappointed. Three remixes in particular have turned Lana’s masterpiece into a festival anthem – between Cedric’s stacatto synth bounce, Myon & Shane’s trancy summer of love mix, and Kaskade’s big room euphoria, there is something for everyone. Easily one of the top songs of Paradiso (Tiesto played Cedric Gervais’ remix, Myon & Shane 54 dropped their own version, and Kaskade brought down the house with the first play of his very own remix), this one is sure to bring back fond memories of summer 2013. Picking a favorite may be the most difficult task at hand
